Handweavers
The Avoca Handweavers mill was established in the
heart of Avoca village in 1723 where the wool from
shorn sheep was spun and woven to make the finest
wool and tweed clothes. Today, Avoca Handweavers are
exporting worldwide. Avoca use on natural fibres in
their scarves, throws and fabrics.

Avoca Handweavers have award-winning cafes,
foodhalls and kitchen shops at several stores, a
garden centre at one and have published Ireland’s
best selling cookbooks. Avoca Handweavers have three
stores in Wicklow at Avoca, Kilmacanogue and
Powerscourt. You'll find an exciting range of
accessories and gifts including glass, leather,
silk, pottery, ironwork and jewellery, much of which
